Job summary

Sonora Bank is seeking a detail‑driven professional to manage the end‑to‑end documentation workflow for commercial loans, including real estate. You will prepare all loan documents, handle extensions and renewals, and book loans in the Jack Henry core system after execution.

The role requires reviewing loan presentations, classifying borrower entities, and coordinating with title companies and attorneys. Strong communication and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of work experience in the banking or credit union industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required.
• Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, inductive reasoning and high accuracy using computer systems to enter large volume of complex information.
• Able to work effectively at high volume in a time sensitive environment.
• Experience with commercial and commercial real estate documentation is preferred.
• Experience with automated document preparation software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle the documentation workflow for commercial loans (including real estate) from initial disclosure through closing.
• Prepare other commercial loan documents, extensions, and renewal/modifications agreements.
• Book loans into the core system (Jack Henry) after documents are executed.
• Review loan presentations for proper approval and completion with supporting docs.
• Determine borrower and guarantor legal classifications and review entity documents.
• Ensure pre-funding requirements and waivers are obtained and compliant.
• Generate disclosures as required by law.
• Coordinate documentation prep, data gathering, and customer contact workflow through closing.
