Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Documentation Specialist to prepare loan packages from worksheets and commitment letters, order and review title work, verify insurance coverage, and coordinate with closing attorneys to ensure timely delivery of loan materials.

The role includes reviewing outside appraisals for USPAP compliance, preparing system-generated loan documents, and maintaining strong service levels with bankers and clients throughout the loan closing

Qualifications

• Prepare loan packages accurately from loan worksheets and commitment letters.
• Order and review title work for real estate loans and verify insurance coverage.
• Review outside appraisals for compliance with USPAP and lending standards.
• Prepare system-generated loan documents based on inputs from bankers and closing attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Order, review and approve title work and appraisal requests; notify bankers of issues.
• Coordinate with closing attorneys to ensure timely delivery of loan packages.
• Ensure compliance with lending policies such as loan-to-value and appraisal criteria.
• Diligently review loan requests including real estate and other collateral, modifications, and renewals.
• Maintain customer service focus with internal and external customers during the closing process.
