Job summary

Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time Loan Documentation Specialist to support lending operations by preparing, reviewing, and coordinating loan documentation for accuracy and compliance.

The role involves working with lenders, attorneys, title companies, and internal teams to ensure loans are properly documented and ready for closing. Strong customer service background and knowledge of loan processes are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of loan structures and related policies is a plus.
• Knowledge of lending processes, real estate and settlement regulations is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and reviews loan documentation within the loan platform; ensures compliance and completeness.
• Orders appraisals/evaluations and flood determinations; tracks borrower payments.
• Prepares loan documents in accordance with final credit facility approvals.
• Orders title and lien searches; ensures adherence to credit facility requirements.
• Follows up with internal/external customers for missing data within set timeframes.
• Reviews documents before closing for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Schedules closings to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Maintains logs and performs general administrative tasks.
• Maintains knowledge of commercial loan structures and UCC/real estate regulations.
• Promotes Shore Bancshares and affiliate products to customers as appropriate.
