This role supports the Commercial Banking division by ensuring timely, accurate loan documentation and closing processes. You will partner with Commercial Bankers, Loan Operations, Legal Counsel, and clients to mitigate risk, maintain compliance, and deliver high-touch service, while contributing to process improvements

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred; HS diploma with 1 year of post-secondary training or equivalent certification accepted.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting Commercial/Retail lending or legal professionals.
• Proficiency in MS Office and loan origination/documentation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordinator for commercial loan closings; prepare and validate documentation packages to meet compliance and policy requirements.
• Liaise between Commercial Banking Officers and Loan Operations; manage post-closing follow-up and gaps.
• Develop internal/external communications including board memos, legal letters, and client letters.
• Maintain sensitive client files per data governance and confidentiality standards using document management systems.
• Analyze, prepare, and distribute complex reports for executive review and internal audit materials.
• Support commercial customers with high‑touch service for loan inquiries, transactions, and account maintenance.
• Manage ledger entries and processing of loan transactions, including payments and transfers.
• Provide operational support to leadership through special projects and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and training requirements in a timely manner.
