Job summary

Nusenda Credit Union in El Paso, TX seeks a Commercial Loan Administrator to support loan officers, manage prefunding and closing documents, and ensure accurate, timely processing of commercial lending activities. • Support Commercial Loan Officers with loan processes.
• Perform prefunding process for documentation and the loan closing process.
• Review all loan closing documents to ensure accuracy and alignment with loan terms and title documents.
• Review all loan documentation and supporting paperwork prior to loan closings.
• Coordinate loan packages and documentation for closing.
• Coordinate loan closings with borrower and lender as needed.
• Ensure accurate, efficient and timely processing of activities through proper planning and scheduling.
• Interact with members to open accounts, resolve questions, and address problems.

We are currently seeking a Commercial Loan Administrator to join our Credit Union. As a Commercial Loan Administrator, you'll be responsible for working directly with the Business Services Officers and commercial lending clients to provide excellent member service in the business loan closing process and on-going record keeping process. You'll be responsible for on-going, complex administrative support for business members, and for providing general support and assistance with complex tasks. You’ll operate within limited direction in regard to commercial account opening, support, and record keeping while operating independently to complete administrative tasks, priorities, and procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Support Commercial Loan Officers with loan processes.
• Perform prefunding process for documentation and the loan closing process.
• Review all loan closing documents to ensure accuracy as well as a match with the Credit Memo, Laser Pro documents, Entity documents and all aspects of title insurance.
• Review all loan documentation and supporting paperwork prior to loan closings.
• Coordinate loan packages and documentation for closing.
• Coordinate loan closings with borrower and lender as needed.
• Ensure the accurate, efficient and timely processing of activities in these areas through proper planning and scheduling.
• Work/communicate directly with members to open accounts, resolve questions, and address problems that may arise.

What You'll Need:

• Three to five years of similar or related experience
• Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent professional experience.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Experience with commercial loan clients and business banking services which may involve NCUA regulations and generally accepted commercial lending practices.

Must be familiar with Laser Pro documentation; understand real estate title insurance/binders.

Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information and handle problem resolution.

Effectively communicate with internal and external customers appropriately via in person, email etc.

Experience in multi-tasking, meeting strict deadlines, dealing with sensitive information, and problem resolution while providing exceptional service.

Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and all internal systems as affiliated with the department.

Ability to adapt quickly to change and proactively communicate.
