Qualifications / Nice to Have

Must Have

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Illinois Bar or eligibility for admission via waiver.
• 8+ years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm environment.
• Experience independently managing complex business disputes.

Nice to Have

• Trial, arbitration, or evidentiary hearing experience.
• Experience handling shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, business tort litigation, and complex contract disputes.
• Demonstrated history of business development and client retention.

• Compensation generally ranging from $235,000 to $300,000+, depending on productivity, collections, and business origination.
• 15% origination compensation on collected revenue from originated business.
• Annual profit-sharing contributions historically ranging from $10,000 to $28,000.

Partnership Levels

• Non-Equity Partner: Generally targeted toward attorneys with a portable book of business of $250,000+.
