Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting seeks an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal in San Antonio to join a well established law firm. The role supports attorneys through litigation, including trial preparation and courtroom proceedings, with a focus on commercial, business, or civil matters.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience (7–10+ preferred), hands-on trial involvement, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience with 7–10+ years preferred.
• Experience in commercial/business/civil litigation and trial involvement.
• Prior hands-on trial preparation and support.
• Strong knowledge of court procedures, discovery, deadlines and filings.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently with attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys handling commercial and civil litigation matters.
• Assist through all phases: case prep, discovery, trial, post-trial.
• Prepare and organize pleadings, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, exhibits.
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial schedules.
• Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, and court filings.
• Assist with trial prep, including exhibit organization and courtroom logistics.
• Provide direct support to attorneys during trials and court proceedings.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel and others.
