Job summary

Adler Pollock & Sheehan PC in Providence, RI seeks a Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of experience to handle complex corporate and commercial disputes and play a meaningful role in case management and client service.

The successful candidate will work in a hybrid/flexible environment, supporting senior attorneys across motions, discovery, and trial preparation while contributing to a collaborative, growth-focused litigation team.

Qualifications

• RI Bar admitted and in good standing; RI admission within 6 months; MA/CT admissions preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience practicing commercial litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Practical, solutions-oriented approach to client service.

Responsibilities

• Draft and argue motions, participate in depositions, and assist in trials and hearings.
• Manage discovery, draft pleadings, and prepare case strategy with senior attorneys.
• Conduct legal research and analyze sophisticated issues.
