Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate in Los Angeles to manage complex commercial matters across state and federal courts, including investigations, discovery, pleadings, depositions, and motion practice.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of diverse litigation experience, license in Delaware or Illinois (or a plan to obtain one promptly), excellent academic credentials, and the ability to handle multiple projects under pressure while maintaining a commitment to community

Qualifications

• Three to six years of experience in all phases of complex commercial litigation.
• Experience in both state and federal court is preferred; experience in administrative matters and arbitrations is beneficial.
• Second-chair experience at trial or arbitration is preferred but not required.
• Must be licensed in Delaware or Illinois, or commit to obtaining a license in one of these jurisdictions as soon as possible.
• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.
• Active bar license in Delaware or Illinois, or a commitment to obtain one promptly.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation, including factual investigations, discovery, and preparation of pleadings.
• Conduct depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating superior judgment and the ability to work well under pressure.
