The successful candidate will handle high-stakes disputes, manage discovery, draft motions, take depositions, and assist with trial preparation, working directly with partners and clients.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar admission.
• 4–5 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Experience handling complex disputes including discovery, motions, depositions, and trial prep.
• Experience researching, drafting, and arguing pleadings and motions.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Comparable firm or judicial clerkship experience preferred.
• Experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants is a plus.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative with strong case management.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters, including high‑stakes disputes and brand and reputational litigation.
• Manage written discovery, document production, and other discovery tasks.
• Research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and dispositive and non‑dispositive motions.
• Take and defend depositions and assist with witness preparation.
• Support all phases of trial preparation, including case strategy and evidence development.
• Work with partners and clients on litigation strategy and case management.
• Independently manage key aspects of litigation while collaborating with senior attorneys.
