Job summary

Jobot in San Francisco seeks an experienced attorney to join our growing business litigation practice. You will manage sophisticated commercial disputes, work directly with clients, and influence case strategy from inception through resolution.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 3+ years of business litigation experience.
• Strong writing, research and communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
• Motivated, dependable and eager to develop litigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft motions, discovery, briefs and related legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Participate in settlement discussions and prepare settlement agreements.
• Appear in court for hearings and law & motion.
• Engage in meet-and-confer efforts with opposing counsel.
• Assist with trial preparation and strategy.
• Perform legal research to support case development and motion work.
