Job summary

The Agency Recruiting seeks a detail-oriented Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative in Holyoke, MA. You will be the primary contact for commercial lines clients, handling policy changes, renewals, billing questions, and coverage explanations with timely, accurate communication.

Responsibilities include updating client records, coordinating with carriers, preparing certificates of insurance, and supporting producers with quotes and proposals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial insurance customer service.
• Active Property and Casualty license (or willingness to obtain).
• Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for commercial lines clients.
• Manage policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and other service-related tasks.
• Assist clients with billing questions, claims reporting, and coverage explanations.
• Provide accurate information regarding policy coverage, exclusions, and changes.
• Maintain and update client records in the agency management system.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers to ensure proper servicing of accounts.
• Prepare certificates of insurance and other documentation as requested by clients.
• Monitor and follow up on pending policy changes or renewals.
• Support producers by gathering information for quotes, proposals, and client presentations.
• Maintain compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.
