Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of insurance or business sales experience.
• Must hold applicable state insurance license or have ability to obtain within 90 days; valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain insurance designations per the organization’s education plan.

Responsibilities

• Gaining a thorough knowledge of the client’s overall business and risk needs.
• Directing the sales process in placement of coverages and negotiating with underwriters.
• Helping policyholders settle claims and renew/upgrade accounts.
• Developing long-term relationships with clients and underwriters.
