Houchens Insurance Group Inc. in Franklin, TN is seeking a Property and Casualty Insurance Producer to drive growth by selling and servicing insurance products for new and existing clients.

You will analyze clients’ risk and coverage needs, present tailored solutions, negotiate terms with underwriters, and help policyholders with claims. The role emphasizes building long-term relationships, high activity in prospecting, and alignment with the agency’s client-first culture and ESOP ownership.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or three to five years of insurance experience and/or business sales experience; or equivalent combination.
• Must hold applicable state insurance license or have the ability to obtain such within 90 days of employment.
• Must hold a valid Driver's License and be able to obtain insurance designations as per the organization's plan.

Summary

Sells insurance to new and current clients by performing the following duties.

40% Client/Policy Services

• Gaining a thorough knowledge of the client’s overall business, including individual concerns.
• Analyzing clients’ insurance and risk needs by making observations, identifying objectives, and developing strategies.
• Directing sales function in the placement of coverages, including the negotiation of coverages and premiums with underwriters.
• Helping policyholders settle insurance claims in the event of a loss.
• Anticipating future needs and calls on established clients to renew and upgrade accounts.
• Developing long-term relationships with clients and underwriters.

40% Prospecting & Accomplishment of Annual Goals

• Performing prospecting necessary to achieve new business goals set by the VP of Sales.
• Determining avenues to achieve sales goals (may include cold calling, referral opportunities, and association/industry involvement)
• Ensuring the collection of premiums.
• Taking ownership of accounts.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience
