Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Marketing Assistant to join our growing team in Tallahassee, FL. You will support carrier submissions, gather quotes, prepare proposals, and maintain data in AMS360 and Excel spreadsheets.

In this role, you will collaborate with marketing and account teams, attend meetings, and help ensure timely renewal processing. A high school diploma is required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred, and proficiency with MS Office is expected.

• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Submit submissions to carriers and gather quotes.

• Maintain a 'To Do List' to ensure timely processing.
• Attend carrier meetings and Marketing Team meetings.
• Create and maintain Excel worksheets as required.
• Input Commercial Account detail into AMS360 for renewals.
• Negotiate renewal quotes with carriers.

How You Will Contribute

• Send submissions to carriers
• Rate and gather quotes for proposals
• Maintain a "To Do List" to ensure timely processing
• Attend carrier meetings and Marketing Team meetings
• Follow Marketing procedures as outlined in the CL Procedures Manual
• Prepare proposals
• Collect data and report monthly Top Gun results
• Create and maintain Excel worksheets as required
• Input Commercial Account detail into AMS360 for renewals
• Input bound Premium/Commission for renewals
• Request binding for renewals in marketing
• Expand AMS360 training activities and follow‑ups for marketing
• Gather loss runs for renewals from Account Managers
• Review Dec pages in AMS and renewal applications in submissions for marketing
• Input data into carrier online rating systems
• Negotiate renewal quotes with carriers

Licenses & Designations

• 2‑20 License – Willing to Obtain

Skills & Experience to Be Successful
