Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial lines experience including quoting and managing policies.
• Strong leadership, staff development and performance management skills.
• Experience building client relationships and ensuring retention.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the Commercial Lines team.
• Manage team goals, productivity, service expectations, training, and performance.
• Develop and maintain Commercial Lines procedures, workflows, and documentation standards.
• Monitor workloads, staffing, workflow distribution, and resource allocation.
• Support complex client service issues and high-value accounts.
• Build and maintain strong commercial client relationships and retention strategies.
• Oversee new business submissions, marketing, quoting, renewals, policy issuance, and binding.
• Ensure clients are contacted at least 90 days before renewal.
• Support producers and advisors in growth and revenue objectives.
• Participate in meetings with prospective clients and referral partners.
• Develop relationships with commercial underwriters and carrier partners.
• Monitor carrier performance and underwriting guidelines.
