Job summary

Brown & Brown in Lakeland, FL seeks a Commercial Lines Account Coordinator to provide administrative and servicing support for commercial accounts, ensuring policy transactions are accurate and documented.

You will work with account managers, producers, carriers and clients to process endorsements, certificates of insurance, renewals, and underwriting paperwork, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering responsive service. Knowledge of MS Office helps; Florida licensing deadlines matter.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite expected.
• Exceptional telephone demeanor and confidentiality.
• Florida 4-40 license within 30 days of hire.
• Eligible for Florida 2-20 license within 1 year of hire.
• Preferred: 2-20 licensing and business/finance degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and service support to Commercial Lines account managers and producers.
• Maintain accurate client and policy information in agency systems and carrier platforms.
• Process policy transactions including endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, audits and changes.
• Issue certificates of insurance, COIs, IDs, binders and other documents.
• Review policies and invoices for accuracy and consistency with coverages.
• Support renewal and marketing activities with underwriting materials and reports.
• Compile underwriting data and loss runs for analysis.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and internal teams to resolve requests.
• Assist with claims administration and document management as directed.
• Deliver policy documents and renewal materials with timely follow-up.
