Independent Insurance Center Inc is seeking a Commercial Lines P&C Account Manager (CSR) in a busy independent agency environment in Texas. The ideal candidate will require minimal training and can quickly assume responsibilities, including rating, underwriting coordination, and carrier communications.

The role demands extensive knowledge of multiple carriers, proficiency with the Newton agency system, and strong written communication.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Texas P&C license and be current with licensing requirements.
• Extensive background in commercial insurance for an independent agency.
• Experience with carriers including The Hartford, CNA, Acuity, Liberty Mutual, Chubb, AmTrust, Mercury, Nationwide, Texas Mutual.
• Proficient in creating professional emails and handling Acord applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agency producers and owners; manage workload and deadlines.
• Use Newton for daily agency management and data entry.
• Market and remarket policies with carriers; communicate with clients, agents and carriers.
• Prepare Acord applications and endorsements; handle change requests and certificates.
• Invoicing, processing carrier downloads, and issuing certificates of insurance.
