Job summary

Hotchkiss Insurance in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to service an assigned portfolio of commercial clients. You will be the primary contact for client needs, process renewals, and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines.

The ideal candidate has a Property & Casualty license, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and at least five years of commercial lines account management experience.

• Property & Casualty insurance license required
• 5+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management Experience
• Proficiency in Applied Systems, electronic signature platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and related tools

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for all service needs of your assigned book of business.
• Assess and evaluate renewal requests for compliance with underwriting guidelines, providing assistance when needed.
• Work with Account Associates to ensure tasks related to assigned accounts, including binding coverage, invoicing, and collecting premiums are handled properly.
• Focus on client retention, working collaboratively with the Sales Consultant to ensure a high retention rate.
• Manage customer requests and correspondence related to assigned clients, covering desks for the team as needed.
• Stay informed about rates, forms, and coverage changes, and acquire knowledge of the company's submissions and proposals process for policies.

Role Summary
