Job summary

Main Street Insurance Group, a trusted independent agency, seeks an Account Manager to service Commercial Lines accounts and manage client relationships. You’ll work with the production team to handle new and existing accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

You will drive agency growth through proactive account rounding, referrals, and cross-selling while maintaining accurate documentation in the agency management system and timely renewal activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree desirable or equivalent work experience.
• Active Property & Casualty license in the state(s) of operation.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverage and markets.
• Proficient with agency technology and modern office software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service assigned Commercial Lines accounts.
• Support growth and retention through referrals and cross-selling.
• Prepare summaries, schedules, and proposals for clients.
• Process mail, email, calls, and office visits promptly and professionally.
• Maintain client files in the Agency Management System with proper documentation.
• Assist clients with billing questions and claims status.
