Job summary

Mountain West Insurance & Financial Services is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager in Alamosa, CO to verify policy accuracy and support account executives in servicing commercial clients.

The role emphasizes prompt processing of policies and endorsements, precise document handling, and teamwork to ensure client satisfaction. Prior insurance experience and an active Colorado license are preferred; MS Office and agency management systems are used daily.

Qualifications

• Prior insurance experience is desirable.
• Must maintain an insurance license as mandated by Colorado regulators.
• Proficiency with a desktop or laptop, calculator, and Microsoft Office suite required.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy of policies and endorsements for commercial accounts.
• Process client information to maintain current files.
• Collaborate with Account Executive to service client accounts.
• Review and process new and renewal policies within 10 days.
• Request, review, and process endorsements with carriers.
• Issue certificates and auto ID cards and verify accuracy.
• Update EPIC with change requests and monitor follow-ups.
• Attend commercial lines meetings and maintain licensing/designations.
• Prepare insured letters and perform other duties as assigned.
