Job summary

Benchmark Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Account Manager to serve commercial clients in Houston, TX. You will act as the primary liaison for assigned accounts, coordinate endorsements, renewals, and claims, and collaborate with underwriters to deliver tailored coverage solutions.

Ideal candidates hold a Property & Casualty license, have 2+ years in AMS360 or similar, and demonstrate strong communication, cross-selling, and compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold state-issued Property and Casualty license.
• Minimum experience as an account manager in commercial lines.
• Solid understanding of various insurance company policies and coverages.
• Familiarity with working procedures in commercial enterprises to advise clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned commercial accounts, ensuring timely communication with clients.
• Address client inquiries, manage endorsements, renewals, and claims accurately.
• Review client portfolios regularly to ensure adequate coverage and opportunities for cross-selling.
• Manage renewal processes and identify coverage gaps, presenting solutions to retain clients.
• Collaborate with underwriters, claims specialists, and sales teams for seamless service.
• Document client interactions and policy changes accurately in the agency system.
