Job summary

Cross Insurance in Maine's Augusta office is seeking an Account Manager to service commercial policies and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and professionals.

You will respond to inquiries, assist with renewals and documentation, prepare binders and proposals, and coordinate with Account Executives on marketing and submissions. A P&C license and proven sales experience are required, with excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• P&C Licensure required.
• Proven experience selling insurance is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal & written).

Responsibilities

• Understand daily business operations and exposures of customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries including coverage questions and documentation requests with AE direction.
• Follow up with underwriters for quotes and receipt of information.
• Prepare renewals, proposals, and new business submissions.
• Visit clients as needed on behalf of AE and assist in increasing coverage.
