Insurance Office of America is hiring an Account Manager Associate for Commercial Lines. This role supports the account team with policy administration, renewals, and service excellence. Remote for CA residents with strong preference for Los Angeles County; hybrid onsite as needed.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in insurance customer service, a active P&C license, and strong communication and analytical skills. MS Office proficiency and a high school diploma are expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing; professional designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team and producers.
• Independently resolve moderately complex customer service problems for smaller accounts.
• Assist in policy renewals, billing, and coverage analysis.
• Monitor expirations, renewals, and data accuracy in systems.
• Coordinate contract review and ensure proper coverages.
• Support accounts receivable and on-time payments.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the team.
• Deliver responsive service and uphold IOA values.
