Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty license required; professional designation preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Outstanding customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, producer, and assigned accounts.
• Assist in directing day-to-day activities and workflow of team support roles and account staff.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, gather underwriting information, perform loss run analysis, prepare submissions, evaluate and negotiate coverages and pricing, prepare proposals, bind coverage and follow up for issuance.
• Process tasks accurately within required timeframes.
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor activity/suspense for timely completion.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the team.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively meet needs.
