JD Fulwiler & Company Insurance in Portland, OR is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to independently manage an established book of business and collaborate with Producers on strategic renewals and tailored coverage solutions.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of independent agency Commercial Lines account management, strong carrier relationships, and a proven ability to sustain client partnerships through proactive service and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Independent agency experience required.
• Strong technical knowledge of Commercial Lines coverages.
• Experience with renewals, marketing, coverage analysis, and client relationships.
• Ability to manage an established book of business.

Responsabilités

• Independently manage an assigned book of Commercial Lines accounts.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Partner with Producers on renewal strategy, marketing, account retention, and account rounding.
• Prepare marketing submissions, review carrier quotations, and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
• Coordinate renewals, endorsements, certificates, audits, and other account servicing activities.
• Serve as the primary service contact for assigned clients, carriers, and internal team members.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation in Applied Epic.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and strengthening client relationships.
• Stay current on carrier appetite, coverage changes, and industry trends.
• Mentor and support less experienced team members as needed.

We're looking for an insurance professional with independent agency experience, strong technical knowledge of Commercial Lines coverages, and the ability to confidently manage renewals, marketing, coverage analysis, and client relationships. Five (7) or more years of Commercial Lines account management experience with an independent insurance agency and multiple insurance carriers required.
