Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to support our growing commercial lines team in California. You will manage client accounts, coordinate with producers and carrier partners, and ensure timely servicing of commercial policies.

Liability/Property&C casualty knowledge, strong carrier relationships, and proficiency with AMS360/EPIC/Applied TAM will help you drive accurate marketing, quoting, and renewal strategies while delivering exceptional client service within

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• 5+ years in a commercial lines role within an independent agency or retail brokerage.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverages and rating methodologies.
• Experience with multiple carriers and underwriters.
• Proficient with agency management systems and rating platforms.
• Proficient with MS Office; able to analyze and organize client data.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate policy records, endorsements, and account details within agency management systems
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, producers, and carrier underwriters regarding coverage, policy changes, and renewals
• Manage the full marketing and quoting process for new business and renewal accounts
• Gather, organize, and analyze account information to support renewal strategy and placement
• Ensure timely follow-up and consistent communication with clients and carrier representatives
• Support retention efforts by delivering responsive, high-quality client service

Qualifications & Experience

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license required
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a commercial lines role within an independent agency or retail brokerage
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverages and rating methodologies
• Experience working directly with multiple insurance carriers and underwriters
• Proficiency with online rating platforms and carrier portals
• Experience with agency management systems such as Applied TAM, EPIC, or AMS360
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
