Job summary

The Jonus Group seeks a detail-oriented Commercial Insurance Account Manager for a Hybrid role in Atlanta, GA. You will manage an established book, serve as primary client liaison, and handle renewals, endorsements, and invoicing with a focus on accuracy and client retention.

You will review contracts, prepare summaries, and collaborate with a team to address cancellations, claims, and carrier concerns. A P&C license and 3+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Holds an active P&C license.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial account management experience.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn/use multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage an established book of business.
• Serve as a primary point of contact in a client-facing role.
• Maintain client relationships while handling both new and renewal submissions.
• Review insurance contracts for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Process endorsements, placement requests, and invoicing.
• Prepare certificates, proposals, policy summaries, and reviews.
• Verify policy coverage and endorsements on all new and renewal business.
• Work independently or collaboratively with the team.
• Ensure retention of assigned accounts.
• Apply problem-solving techniques to address cancellations, claims, renewal issues, audits, receivables, and carrier concerns.
