The role involves collecting and analyzing financial data, preparing forms, coordinating with the VP of Commercial Lending, and ensuring compliance with BSA/AML/OFAC while delivering excellent member service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of two years of commercial lending experience.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and assess borrowing capacity.
• Knowledge of commercial lending laws and collateral appraisal.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Gather background information and collect required details for business loan applications.
• Interview applicants for refinancing or loan rewrites.
• Assist applicants through the loan process to ensure complete information.
• Pull credit reports, verify debt, and estimate monthly payments.
• Calculate debt-to-income and determine secured vs unsecured debt.
• Prepare loan documents and disburse loans upon approval.
• Explain denial reasons and explore options with members.
• Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act, AML, MIP, OFAC.
• Support VP of Commercial Lending in collection efforts.
