Job summary

Sentinel Federal Credit Union is hiring a Business Services Officer to lead business banking relationships, evaluate and structure commercial loans, and manage a growing loan portfolio. The role emphasizes relationship management, sound credit decisions, and collaboration with Credit Analysts and Loan Processors.

Qualifications

• Five years of direct experience in lending or business banking.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lending practices and financial analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex financial information.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business banking opportunities and relationships through community involvement and exceptional service.
• Serve as a trusted resource for members with business lending and depository needs.
• Evaluate, structure, and approve commercial loan requests with diverse corporate/financial structures.
• Negotiate loan terms, including fees and repayment options, with applicants.
• Manage and monitor an existing commercial loan portfolio to maintain asset quality.
