Job summary

FNBT is seeking a Commercial Lending professional in Texas to interview loan applicants, review financial data, and decide loan terms within established lending limits. You will close loans, prepare packets for Loan Committee, and maintain a growing portfolio.

The role emphasizes business development, public-facing relationship work, and private banking for clients, requiring strong communication, analytical skills, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum of 2-3 years experience in Commercial Lending
• Strong business development and networking skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good communication skills
• Must be detail oriented, analytical, and organized
• Must successfully pass background investigation and drug screen according to company policy
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Interview loan applicants concerning their businesses, needs, and earnings to determine whether a loan may be an acceptable risk
• Receive and review loan applications; obtain and direct the analysis of all necessary financial data
• Make decisions on loans and terms within established lending limits
• Prepare loan packet for presentation to Loan Committee and/or Board
• Close loans which includes obtaining attorney information, title, etc
• Maintain loan portfolios ensuring customer follow-up and monitoring of customer financials
• Conduct analysis on loan accounts
• Collect on past-due accounts
• Seek out new business and sustain an active pipeline
• Must develop and maintain relationships within the public eye
• Conduct private banking for customers
• Other duties as assigned
