Job summary

FNBT - First National Bank Texas seeks a Commercial Lending professional to interview loan applicants, review applications, and analyze financial data to assess risk. You will decide on loan terms within limits and prepare packets for committees or boards.

You will close loans, maintain portfolios, and pursue new business, building strong community relationships through private banking services and ongoing customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in commercial lending.
• Strong business development and networking skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, detail orientation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Team-oriented with good co-worker relations.

Responsibilities

• Interview loan applicants concerning their businesses, needs, and earnings to determine risk.
• Receive and review loan applications; obtain and direct financial data analysis.
• Make loan decisions within lending limits.
• Prepare loan packets for Loan Committee and/or Board.
• Close loans including attorney information, title, etc.
• Maintain loan portfolios with follow-up and monitoring of financials.
• Conduct analysis on loan accounts.
• Collect on past-due accounts.
• Seek new business and sustain an active pipeline.
• Develop and maintain relationships within the public eye.
• Conduct private banking for customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
