ThinkingAhead is assisting a distinguished family-owned community bank in recruiting a Commercial Lender – VP/SVP for the Northeast San Antonio market. Based in Schertz, Texas, this role concentrates on owner-occupied C&I lending and building deep client relationships to diversify the portfolio.

You will originate and structure loans, collaborate with treasury management and SBA teams, and represent the bank in local business and civic circles.

Qualifications

• A demonstrated record of annual commercial loan production in the range of $16 million to $22 million or greater.

Position Overview

On behalf of our client, a distinguished family-owned community banking organization, we are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Commercial Lender to join its Northeast San Antonio market team. This position is based in Schertz, Texas, and reports to the Market President.

The local business community includes manufacturing, construction and skilled trades, medical practices, automotive services, and landscaping enterprises.

The market team serves the Schertz, Garden Ridge, and Bulverde/Spring Branch communities. Because commercial real estate lending is currently well covered within the market, this position will focus primarily on commercial and industrial (C&I) relationships to strengthen portfolio diversification.
