Job summary

Ronning Landscaping in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a detail-oriented Landscape Estimator to join our estimating team. This full-time, on-site role focuses on developing accurate, competitive bids for commercial landscape and installation projects.

You will review site plans, perform takeoffs in OST, and build estimates aligned with pricing margins. Collaboration with sales and operations ensures bids are timely and accurate, with strong vendor coordination and CRM updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of landscaping experience (commercial experience preferred).
• Experience with estimating or takeoffs is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret basic site plans and project scopes.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with CRM systems.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review plans to develop accurate estimates for bids.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost calculations using OST.
• Build competitive estimates aligned with margins.
• Submit professional proposals on time.
• Track bids and manage CRM data in Zoho.
• Coordinate with sales and ops for bid follow-ups.
• Clarify scope with contractors and respond to RFIs.
• Improve templates and estimating tools.
