Job summary

The candidate will develop estimates where standards are unavailable, analyze bids and margins, and provide operations with start-up details to ensure smooth project initiation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience, preferably in commercial landscaping or construction.
• Proficiency with estimating software; Salesforce experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather, calculate, and compile takeoff data for bid proposals.
• Leverage measurement technologies to produce efficient takeoffs.
• Use estimating software and CRM tools to build quotes.
• Develop estimates when standards are not available using historical data.
• Analyze bids, margins, and closure rates to shape winning strategies.
• Provide Operations with details for successful job start-ups and scope clarifications.
• Ensure estimates align with branch production capabilities, pricing strategy, and client expectations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline estimating processes and improve accuracy.
