Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking an BVG Estimator to review plans and prepare bid information for commercial landscape and irrigation projects. The role involves gathering take-off data, preparing routine and detailed estimates, and maintaining supplier price information.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, proficiency with HCSS and On-Screen Take-Off, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience in landscaping estimating and managing landscape and irrigation projects.
• Experience with HCSS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Proficiency with On-Screen Take-Off.
• Strong work ethic with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather, calculate, and compile take-off data for bid proposals.
• Prepare routine estimates and detailed cost estimates for ancillary projects under supervision.
• Maintain current information on prices from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Utilize standard estimate software to present information to management.
• Demonstrate ethics and integrity in work behavior.
