Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician in Milwaukee, WI. This full-time, non-exempt position focuses on service, diagnosis, and repair of commercial cooking, refrigeration, and ware-washing equipment.

You will work with restaurant and hospitality managers, read diagrams, and coordinate with manufacturers for parts. On-call rotations and travel may be required; company-provided vehicle and benefits support your career growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or related military service.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours emergency on-call rotation (nights and weekends).
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
• Immigration sponsorship not provided for this role.

Responsibilities

• Serve commercial kitchen equipment systems for restaurant/hospitality clients.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret diagrams and schematics.
• Communicate with manufacturers for diagnoses and parts identification.
• Install ordered parts and maintain service vehicle and inventory.
• Produce accurate work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock documentation.
• Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures.
