Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions in Knoxville is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to service commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing equipment, and related systems.

You will diagnose issues, read diagrams and schematics, and repair equipment on-site, coordinating with manufacturers for parts. The role requires travel, on-call rotation, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to be on-call for nights and weekends.
• Occasional overnight travel; immigration sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial kitchen equipment including cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing and related systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair; read diagrams and schematics.
• Coordinate with manufacturers for diagnoses and parts identification.
• Consult with Technical Assistance Group onsite for support.
• Install ordered parts in a timely and professional manner.
• Promote other Smart Care services to customers when needed.
• Produce accurate work orders, time reports, receipts and inventory.
• Follow safety practices and maintain a clean, organized vehicle.
• Maintain productivity levels per company standards.
