Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to service and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and related equipment at customer sites. This Full-time, non-exempt role includes on-the-job training and access to CFESA certifications.

You will troubleshoot from diagrams, read schematics, and work with our Technical Assistance Group onsite. A company vehicle, fuel card, tablet and cell phone are provided, along with a strong benefits program

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness and ability to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing and related equipment on-site.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with reading diagrams and schematics.
• Communicate with manufacturers for diagnoses and parts identification.
• Install ordered parts promptly and maintain vehicle and inventory.
• Produce accurate administrative documents and follow safety procedures.
