Job summary

Goodwin Tucker is seeking a Service Technician to service commercial kitchen equipment across diverse client sites. You will diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of equipment while delivering top-notch customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of gas, electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment.
• Work with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels, and other customers to keep kitchens operating safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing-related issues.
• Repair and maintain ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, ranges, dishwashers, refrigeration equipment, and other equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service calls.
• Communicate with customers and document repairs and recommended actions.
• Maintain service records and follow safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.
