Job summary

Goodwin Tucker is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of foodservice equipment for restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, and hotels.

You will work directly with customers, perform preventative maintenance, keep accurate service records, and ensure safety and high-quality repairs while enjoying a competitive pay, excellent benefits, a company vehicle, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience repairing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of gas, electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Industry certifications are a plus, but we're willing to invest in the right technician.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment.
• Work directly with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels, and institutions.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing issues.
• Repair and maintain ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, ranges, dishwashers, and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete service calls accurately.
• Communicate with customers regarding problems and recommended repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety procedures.
• Keep service vehicle, tools, and equipment organized and in good condition.
