Job summary

Goodwin Tucker is seeking an experienced Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to diagnose, repair, install and maintain a wide range of equipment for restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels and more. Qualifications

Previous experience repairing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of gas, electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing systems is a plus.
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule.
Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
Industry certifications are a plus, but we're willing to invest in the right technician.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain commercial foodservice equipment.
Work directly with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels and other commercial customers to keep kitchens operating safely and efficiently.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing issues.
Repair and maintain ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, ranges, dishwashers, refrigeration equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Diagnose equipment failures and determine the best repair solution.
Complete service calls accurately and professionally.
Communicate with customers regarding problems and repairs.
Maintain accurate service records.
Follow safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.
Keep service vehicle, tools, and equipment organized and maintained.
