Job summary

Smart Care is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to service and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, and related equipment in the Greater Bay Area. You will read diagrams, diagnose issues, and perform on-site repairs, with on-call nights/weekends and occasional travel.

The role offers $40-55/hr DOE, sign-on/retention bonus, 3 weeks’ vacation annually, 401(k) matching, and a company vehicle with a fuel card and business cell phone.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or military service.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation including nights and weekends.
• Immigration sponsorship not provided for this role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with restaurant and hospitality managers to service commercial cooking, refrigeration, warewashing and related equipment.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and ability to read diagrams and schematics.
• Drive income through quarterly bonuses by meeting efficiency and productivity goals.
