Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will service, troubleshoot, and repair cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and related equipment for restaurant customers.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read diagrams, and a willingness to be on-call with nights and weekends. A valid driver's license and occasional travel are required; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of technical experience in refrigeration or kitchen equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Willingness to be on-call during nights and weekends.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
• Immigration sponsorship not provided for this role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with restaurant and hospitality managers to service commercial cooking and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment including cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing and related units.
• Read diagrams and schematics to guide repairs.
• Communicate with manufacturers for diagnostics and parts identification.
• Install ordered parts and maintain inventory per policy.
• Produce accurate work orders, time reporting, and receipts.
• Promote additional Smart Care services to customers when applicable.
