Job summary

Tech24 is seeking a Field Service Technician in El Paso, TX to diagnose, service, and repair hot-side cooking equipment and cold-side refrigeration. You will travel to customer sites, perform preventative maintenance, and document work in the company system.

You should have 3+ years in commercial foodservice or refrigeration repair, a valid license, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. A company vehicle, benefits, and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions.
• Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters.
• Own industry standard hand tools.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
• EPA Universal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, etc.).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations.
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system.
• Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.
