Job summary

Brassica is seeking a Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to help keep our commercial kitchen equipment safe, reliable and well-maintained. You will diagnose issues, install parts and perform preventive maintenance across Northstar Restaurant Group and Brassica locations.

The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, a valid driver’s license and willingness to learn through hands-on experience. You’ll frequently work evenings and weekends and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in equipment maintenance and repair.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work around electrical equipment and safety protocols.
• Willingness to learn through hands-on experience and coaching.
• Ability to travel as needed and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment issues and identify parts required for repair.
• Install replacement parts, test equipment and return to service.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment.
• Learn operating sequences, safety expectations and wiring diagrams.
• Complete refrigeration training to support cold-side equipment.
• Use hand tools, multimeters and drills to perform repairs.
• Communicate maintenance status to Lead Technician and restaurant leaders.
• Study training materials from industry resources.
