Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions seeks a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to service restaurant cooking, refrigeration, and ware-washing equipment. On-the-job training and formal hands-on instruction are provided, with potential CFESA/EPA certifications and advancement opportunities.

You will partner with restaurant managers, read diagrams, troubleshoot, and install ordered parts while promoting Smart Care services. A company vehicle and benefits support career growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation including nights/weekends.
• Occasional travel to service sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with restaurant managers to service cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and related equipment.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, troubleshoot, and read diagrams/schematics.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen equipment.
• Communicate with manufacturers for diagnoses and parts identification.
• Consult with Technical Assistance Group for on-site support.
• Install all ordered parts promptly and per policy.
• Promote other Smart Care services to customers when needed.
• Prepare accurate work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventory.
• Follow safe work practices and maintain a clean service vehicle.
• Maintain productivity per company standards.
