Job summary

Smart Care is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician in Virginia Beach to service commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing and related equipment. The role combines diagnostics, repair work, and on-site support for hospitality facilities.

You will read diagrams, troubleshoot issues, install parts, and coordinate with manufacturers while keeping accurate service documentation and maintaining a clean vehicle and tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness and ability to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends.
• Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned.
• Immigration sponsorship not provided for this role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with restaurant and hospitality managers to service commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and other equipment.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and ability to read diagrams/schematics.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen equipment.
• Communicate with manufacturers for diagnoses and parts identification.
• Install ordered parts in a timely, professional manner per policy.
• Produce accurate work orders, time reporting, receipts, and inventory.
