Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is hiring a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to service and repair commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment on customer sites. You will read diagrams, troubleshoot issues, and work with manufacturers for parts and guidance.

On-the-job and formal training are provided, with opportunities for CFESA certification and advancement into senior technician or management roles. A company vehicle and equipment are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or related military service.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness for emergency on-call rotation including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial kitchen equipment including cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing and related gear.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment on-site with readings and diagrams.
• Communicate with manufacturers for diagnostics and parts identification.
• Install ordered parts promptly and maintain vehicle and inventory.
• Maintain safe work practices and documentation (work orders, time reporting).
