Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions in Springfield, VA seeks a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician. You will service cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and specialty equipment, troubleshooting with diagrams and schematics, and coordinating with manufacturers for parts and diagnoses.

You will install parts, document work orders, and maintain a clean service vehicle while adhering to safety standards. This full-time on-site role offers growth into advanced tech and management tracks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• About 1 year of technical experience in refrigeration, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or related service.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to participate in emergency on-call rotation (nights/weekends).
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
• Immigration sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial kitchen equipment including cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing.
• Troubleshoot using diagrams and schematics.
• Properly diagnose and repair equipment; read manufacturers' guides.
• Communicate with manufacturers for diagnoses and parts identification.
• Install parts and complete work orders and time reports.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain vehicle and inventory.

Education

EPA/CFESA certifications (preferred)
